What Is Videography?
Videography is simply the production of videos from conception to the final product, generally in a small scale ranging from a team of a few individuals to a single person who does everything from shooting the video to setting and editing. The medium has always been the digital camera or camcorder, with the resulting captured video being stored in a digital storage medium such as a tape; modern cameras save video onto hard drives, solid state drives or flash storage.
Why Is Video So Important For Marketing?
A whopping 85% of businesses now use video as a marketing tool, with 92% of marketers agreeing that it’s an important part of their strategy.
In research published by Hubspot, 99% of marketers currently using video reported that they plan to continue doing so over the course of this year. No less than 95% of them are even planning to up their investment in video in the near future. So it’s probably fair to say that video content has officially taken over the marketing world – and it seems this is a trend that’s here to stay.
